As Region 8 Membership Chair, I would like to recognize the members that truly “walk the walk and talk the talk”. Our recruiting contest will begin October 1, 2009 and ends March 31, 2009.

The award will be presented at Forum 2010 in Phoenix, AZ. We are hoping that this will encourage everyone to participate and also recognize the members that recruit just one. Not everyone has the personality or the opportunity to interact with a lot of people but usually knows of at least one prospective member. Every member that recruits a new member will be recognized. The member with the largest number of recruits will win the award at Forum. Chapter Membership Chairs will be responsible for reporting monthly activity.

  Recruiting Contest Results:    
  Our region recruited 40 members during the contest period October 1, 2009 to March 31, 2010. Several new members got their application in late and were dated April 1st so they did not count for the contest. Certificates were presented to all participants in the contest.    
       
  Karen Edmonston was our recruiting contest winner. This plaque was presented to her at Forum 2010 in Phoenix, AZ.
