Our national Public Relations & Marketing chair has set up a NAWIC-wide competition, beginning October 1, 2011 and running through July 31, 2012.

Here are the categories:


1. Best event with another association - join forces with another association and participate
in one of their events. It could be a chili cook-off, BBQ, golf tournament, etc. Take
pictures and submit to sandee.morgan@mailhosts.com.

2. Most creative marketing/logo/branding items - has your chapter come up with a unique or creative NAWIC branded item? Take a photo and submit to sandee.morgan@mailhosts.com.

3. Most publicized chapter - get the word about NAWIC out there! Every time your chapter
is written about in a publication, scan a copy of the article and submit to sandee.morgan@mailhosts.com.

Some P/R and marketing ideas from the workshop at convention:
-- Joint meetings with another association
-- Seminars with CEU’s
-- NAWIC branded items (i.e. cell phone holder, flash drives, etc.)
-- NAWIC labels on water bottles - delivered to local construction job sites
-- Face book for your chapter
-- Construction “mixer” during WIC Week
-- Post upcoming events at local Starbucks
